Last week sometime I was invited to Radioshack\’s \”peak of performance\” meeting, for \”some sort of award\”.
Today was the day of the meeting, and started out at a nice and early 6am. I drove over the hill to be there by 9am, and found out that apparently the meeting was mainly for managers. Now normally I don\’t have any probalem with hanging out with others in the company for various company functions, but right now I really don\’t want any more responsibility in the company… That and it was kind of awkward to be surrounded by only people who are supposed to be in charge of you, none of whom you know, who aparently all know each other.
They did go over some nice things there though. Sprint officially announced that they will have a streaming video phone later this summer (drool), but nothing more about that.
They gave me this nice looking trophy…. err… beer mug…
