So… I got a knife

This one is a gift from my Mother. Heh, go figure that my Mom now will buy me sharp pointy things

This is a Japanese Tanto, it was used as a close-quarters knife and also as part of the formal uniform for ceremonies. The says contains a small kozuka knife. The kozuka was used as a utility knife, as it is too small to be used for fighting. Think of it as a Japanese pocket knife.
