Well, Hello all. It's break time from school, which of course means that the rest of life gets really busy. For those of you that have not yet heard, my brother had his car stolen the day before yesterday while he was at work. Being that my flks now life in Arizona, he has no way to get around unless he has a car... which is where I come in and where this story begins: I had just finished driving Betty to San Francisco, and was setteling down to read myself some slashdot for the evening when I get a call from my brother saying that he could not find his car in the parking lot. In fact, he said that it was stolen and he was in the security office filling out a report for mall security. I popped off a quick call to Dad, then hit the road to give him a ride back to Santa Cruz. The only problem was this: It was really raining. Most of the time, rain on the freeway is an inconvienence, making things go slower. Here it was more of a problem because not only was it raining cats and dogs, it was ...  Read the rest of the entry...

Hello folks, I have returned from the black abyss of my summer internship. The internship is **very** interesting and I have written some really cool code.... that I can't tell anyone about.... too bad :( Anyways, the internship is really fun, and is taking up all my time during the week... As If I wasn't busy enough during the week, I now have another job... making it a grand total of 3 jobs.... I now work for ratshack on sunday, I build computers for this guy on saturday, and I work for Zonelabs during the week. Wheee! I'm CrAzY!!! hehe. Family stuff has also decided to get some crazyness this summer. My family decided that the time in Calfornia is up now and it is time to move themselves to another state. This time they picked Arizona, being that Dad snagged a job for Intel in Phoenex. W00T Dad! This move has kind of a downside for one of the family members though, my brother can't follow them this time or he won't be able to get into a UC with in-state rates. So between working all the freking time I am also managing the channel of communication between my ...  Read the rest of the entry...

Hrm, life is good. I've started looking at what classes I get to take next year, grad classes look so nice. It seems that I'm going to take the advanced OS class, the advances security class and the storage class all next year. I also get to take a class in Information theroy from Yellin, and probably his advanced crypto class too. I also found out that the family is all going to be down here for my graduation. My grandfather is coming in from Wisconsion (or New Orleans, I'm not sure which), my immediate family is coming from Grass Valley, and my Aunt is also coming down from Grass Valley. We are only missing one uncle and an aunt and we would have a full blown family reunion.... it's been so long since we've had one of those. Aww well, maybe everyone will come down for the bigger graduation in 4 years. That's the really important one anyways. I can hardly believe that I am near the end of my undergrad life. It seems like I have been going to school forever, my life has changed so much in the last four years that I hardly recognize myself. I am ...  Read the rest of the entry...

Hello family and all, Sorry about the delay between posts here, I usuly keep one or two a week, but lots has changed recently... As some of you know, I have been on a quest to meet people lately. I tried hnging out at strange places on campus, at coffee shops, and I even went to a BBQ in attempts to meet people. After all that work, I finally met someone... on the internet. I guess that just shows that my prefered medium is the right way after all. The story actaully started about three months ago when I deicided that now was the right time to try to meet peeople. At the suggestion of my room-mate's girlfriend I posted an account on match.com. I spent the next almost three months re-writing my profile once a week and searching through all the profiles in northern California, and most of the ones in southern California also. This went on without any success as I am far too picky about people, and I didn't want to spend time trying to meet people that I knew from the outset wouldn't work. While match.com does not get along with firefox, I have to give them ...  Read the rest of the entry...
